This dress I made with McCall’s M6834 with a stretchy black material. I inserted a zipper in the back but really didn’t end up needing it because of the stretch of the material. I love how big the skirt is with all the extra material! I love walking around in it.
This dress I made with Simplicity’s S1586 using a material I received from a friend in Japan. It’s actually double sided. The first side is that purple color and the other side is the black color. The pattern was easy at first but when I put it on, the curves had to be adjusted quite a few times to make sure the fabric doesn’t pucker awkwardly. Zipper was definitely necessary in the back even though the fabric was stretchy. Super tight dress but cute!
